Nice to Meet You, I’m Regina

The story of Turista FullTime began long before the blog itself — in the daydreams of a little girl who wanted to understand the world beyond her own language. I remember listening to international songs and feeling curious about the words I didn’t yet know. That early curiosity grew into a love for languages and a deep desire to connect with people from different cultures — a passion that still guides me today.

My love for exploring eventually took me to the Netherlands, where I lived for eight years. It was a life-changing experience that opened the doors of Europe to me and changed the way I see the world — and myself. Today, I live in Rio de Janeiro, a vibrant city that inspires me every single day and often finds its way into my stories here on the blog.

Alongside sharing my travel experiences, I also run my own travel agency, where I create tailor-made adventures. I love getting to know each traveler, listening to their dreams, and then designing custom trips filled with little touches that make a journey unforgettable. For me, every itinerary is more than just a plan — it’s a story waiting to be lived.

Another part of my world is my Airbnb apartment in Ipanema, where I welcome travelers from all over the globe. Most of my guests are international, and this constant exchange makes my days richer while deepening my commitment to creating warm, authentic experiences for everyone who comes to Brazil.

In the end, the blog, the agency, and my Airbnb are simply different ways of following the same dream: bringing people and cultures closer together. Writing, planning, and hosting are not just things I do — they’re how I open my home and my heart to the world.
